Orbis - 14K YELLOW - Zawadi Sapphire
The Orbis universal pin end is Tether's first exploration into genuine gemstones. A luxurious custom bezel with fine milgrain detail surrounds a single 4mm custom rose cut Zawadi Golden Sapphire emulating the shape of an eye.
Zawadi Sapphires are found in Kenya and "Zawadi" is a Swahili word meaning gift. These stones are untreated and the chatoyant sheen is naturally caused by the internal patterns of rutile and hematite in line with the natural growth structure of the sapphire crystal.
